So “Micks Tape” is out for free download tomorrow (via Loud Mouth). The project was produced, written and record within the space of 2 weeks. The 29 tracks capture Leighs raw crass lyrics (the majority recorded in a garden shed) over my uncouth throwaway beats (recorded straight from my MPC).
The cover (above), designed by Hello Newman, is a homage to Tom Waits - Rain Dogs, The Clash - London Calling (via Elvis Presleys self titled album) and of course a tribute to Mickey Rourke.
We’re gonna do a one off show tomorrow night at the Mercantile (click here for more info).

E Rawrk is a side project by myself and Leigh C. We’re gonna be doing the whole mixtape live at the State vs Loud Mouth on the same date of the release.

I’ve been out with the flu for the past week and wanted some productive whilst at home in bed so I made this video. The vid is a combination of footage that lay dormant for 8 months with samples and loops I originally intended to use as soundtrack pieces but were too emotive and cinematic for anything I’d done before.

I made this video with the intention of using it as a promo for the Split E.P I did with Redahan but I didn’t like it. It’s been sitting for a while so I thought why not. A scene from The Outsiders slowed down and cut to work with the tune.
