Mines Clarence presents An Introduction To: Terekke
A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of meeting Matt aka Brooklyn based producer Terekke. He was kind enough to invite us into his studio where he offered us some lovely vegan chocolate cake, played us some records, talked a bit about making music and showed us how it’s done.
This is the first episode in a new and hopefully ongoing series.
For more on Terekke go here
p.s apologies for the poor sound and video quality but there are limitations to the equipment we are using.
New Vid I made. check it. cheers
Here it is.
The second episode in the Mines Clarence Label Heads series.
In this episode we meet the man behind L.I.E.S Records, Ron Morelli.
Ron is playing Dublin on the 10th of this month as well as a number of other gigs across Europe in the following couple of months. More info here.

Cheers to Will Burnett for helping set this up.

Vid I did for Mines Clarence
Mines Clarence is very happy to present the first in what will hopefully be a nice series called Label Heads.
In the first episode we meet the man behind WT Records William Burnett.
More on Will here

p.s the Mines Clarence DSLR is broken so we’re using a cute little digital pocket cam. It does the job.

Maybe to have balanced growth we need to preserve some things and keep some traditions alive. Amazing to think that there might still be some tribes uncontacted out there. Maybe the greatest human achievement would be to fight man’s curiosity and leave them uncontacted.
I’ve always had an interest in belief systems, myths & legends and man’s consumption and interaction with nature. Pretty vague and broad but I think there are connections.
Some interesting things to look at:
Interesting little article on The Lost Amazon Tribe “Hoax”
David Attenborough’s Elephant Bird
The Hunter (over dramatic crap trailer)
Manufactured Landscapes (I posted about it a week or so ago)
The X Creatures series. Kind of tacky but some interesting ideas. Like this one on the Yeti, gets really interesting at 17.15mins. All 6 episodes are on youtube.
This exbo on Clemens von Wedemeyer work Against Death, 2009 / Interview, 2009 / Found Footage, 2009. Described in words much better then I could ever muster here.
Got a new place for my photos. hairyshoulders
Only photo that exists from the Music Box. Kiki before he was Kiki.
